Cement is a great patio material. It creates a clean, hard surface ideal for furniture, place pots and BBQs. Among the reasons why concrete is a popular choice of terrace material is basically because it’s durable. Concrete won’t get harmed by heavy weather and isn’t susceptible to rot or warping like real wood decking. Concrete is also used for patios because it’s long-lasting. Many people invest in a concrete deck because they know that they’ll own it for a long period. A properly installed and maintained concrete patio can previous over 30 years. Another reason concrete patios are popular is basically because they are easy to customize. Concrete can be used for just about any size or form of patio and can create attractive, clean curves. It can be dyed and imprinted with various patterns. So concrete is a great material if you need to generate an eye-catching and unique patio. Yet another advantage to cement patios is that they don’t need much maintenance. Really the only regular maintenance they actually need is sweeping and cleaning. Some individuals choose to cover their concrete patios with a sealer. This only needs applying around once every two years, or when the patio shows symptoms of wear and tear.

Faversham is a market town and civil parish in the Swale region of Kent, England. The town is located 48 miles from London and 10 miles from Canterbury. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 19316, growing by 1606 from the 2001 Census. It sits besides the Swale, a strip of sea that divides mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppey in the Thames Estuary. It is near to the A2, which travels through an ancient British trackway used by the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons, known as Watling Street. The town’s name is a mix of Latin and Old English, which means mean ‘the metal-worker’s village’. Faversham has had a settlement ever since prior to Roman times, and archaeology has shown that a Roman theatre was located in the town. In time, the town emerged as an essential seaport and centre for brewing. The Shepherd Neame Brewery, set up in 1698, continues to have a major part in the regional economy as a considerable employer. Between the 17th and the beginning of the 20th century, the town was the centre of the dynamites industry, which diminished after an accident in 1916 killed more than 100 workers. This drop-off occurred simultaneously to the re-emergence of the town’s shipping industry, meaning that it had merely a minor impact on the economy. There countless landmarks to be seen in the town, with churches which include St. Mary of Charity, Faversham Parish Church, the Maison Dieu and Faversham Recreation Ground. Being present for over 900 years, the market continues to be based in the town centre.
